Life has gotten way too busy and complicated lately. That being said I'm going to remain MIA until mid-Feb, then I will be back with a vengeance sharing all the craziness, struggles, fears, excitement, and randomness that is me along with some good music. Until then I'm going to continue spending the few free moments I have sitting on my back porch enjoying the wonderful Florida "winter" weather with a cold drink, miniature fire, and a few good books.

It's that time again...

Basketball season has begun!

We have 2 weeks of practice under our belt already, so we are in full swing and prepping for our first game. Check out the schedule and our Varsity roster. We'll be young and small but I think we have some fight in us. After graduating 7 girls last year it is definitely a rebuilding year but if this group can bond together and learn to fight then we'll be just fine.

My Junior Varsity team excites me. We're big in the front court and very athletic in the back court which should turn out to be quite a force. The big question mark will be the mental game and how well these young ladies will be able to focus and make good decisions.
